Tasks

Tasks represent individual work sessions within your projects, capturing time spent on specific activities.

Creating Tasks

Method 1: Timer Tracking

  1. Start the Timer for your current activity
  2. Assign to a project when starting
  3. Add optional details (description, location)
  4. Stop when work is complete

Method 2: Manual Entry

  1. Tap "+" above the Timer or Task List
  2. Enter:
    • Start/end times
    • Project assignment
    • Description
    • Tags
    • Location (optional)
    • Feeling
    • ToDo association (if applicable)
  3. Save to add to your records

Task Components

Each task contains:

  • Time data: Start/end timestamps
  • Project association: Parent project
  • Descriptive details: Work description
  • Financial status: Billable/paid status
  • Location data: GPS or manual entry

View all tasks within a selected time period with:

  • Project assignment
  • Duration calculations
  • Status indicators
  • Search/filter capabilities

Bulk Task Management

  1. Selecting Tasks:

    • Single tap: View details
    • Long press: Select individual tasks
    • "Select All": Choose all filtered tasks
  2. Bulk Actions:

    • Change status (paid/billed/etc.)
    • Add/remove tags
    • Move/copy to other projects
    • Export selected tasks

Filtering Tasks

Filter Options

Access via filter icon (top-right) or list header:

  • Time range: Daily/weekly/monthly/custom
  • Project: Single or multiple projects
  • Status: 8 status filters (see below)
  • Type: Task categorization (task / mileage / call)
