Compliance
The compliance section helps your organization meet labor regulations by tracking rest periods, substitute rest days, and maintaining audit logs.
Compliance features require a Business plan subscription.
Rest period violations
Labor regulations require a minimum rest period between work shifts. Timesheet automatically detects when a member does not get enough rest between two work periods.
Each violation shows:
- Work end: when the previous work period ended
- Work start: when the next work period started
- Required rest: the minimum rest time based on regulations
- Actual rest: the rest time the member actually had
- Deficit: the missing rest time
Managers can review violations under Organizations > your organization > Compliance. Violations can be acknowledged after review.
Substitute rest days
When a member works on a rest day (such as a Sunday or public holiday), they may be entitled to a substitute rest day.
Each substitute rest day record includes:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Work date | The rest day that was worked |
| Work type | Type of rest day (Sunday, holiday, etc.) |
| Work minutes | Hours worked on that day |
| Deadline | The date by which the substitute rest must be taken |
| Rest date | The date the substitute rest was taken |
Managers can track whether substitute rest days have been taken before their deadline.
Audit logs
Audit logs record changes made within your organization. They provide a complete history for compliance and accountability purposes.
Audit logs track:
- What was changed
- Who made the change
- When the change was made
Managers can access audit logs under Organizations > your organization > Compliance.
